The Airbus team is in the process of preparing a technical report of the incident.

The team will take with it the flight data recorder (FDR) and cockpit voice recorder (CVR), the two components of the plane’s ‘black box’, to France to decode it in a bid to know the events that led to the crash of the aircraft.

A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight crashed near Karachi's Model Colony area killing 99 passengers. The flight PK-8303 was enroute from Lahore to Karachi.

The plane, A320 Airbus, was carrying 91 passengers and eight crew members and was scheduled to land at Jinnah International Airport when it developed some technical fault. A conversation which was aired on media channels transpired the flight captain told the control tower that "We have lost engines" and he is going for belly landing. Soon after the said conversation, the control tower lost contact with the pilot.

Several homes and vehicles were also destroyed in the incident. Only two people survived the crash incident.
