BAGHDAD: Iraq's oil exports were 2.452 million barrels per day on average in May compared with 2.508 million bpd in April, the oil ministry said on Saturday.
Exports from southern Basra were 2.086 million bpd in May while shipments from northern Kirkuk were 366,000 bpd, including 7,000 bpd by truck through Jordan, Asim Jihad, a ministry spokesman said.
The average selling price for Iraqi crude for the month was $105 per barrel. From the start of 2012 to May, Iraq generated $39 billion in oil revenues with an average selling price of $112 per barrel.
