KARACHI: Two persons were shot dead and four others including three women injured while another three bodies were found in different areas of Karachi in the wee hours of Sunday and late last night, Chhipa sources said.
They said that Mushtaq Ahmad s/o Abdul Rehman was gunned down by unknown armed men in Mauripur. The deceased was around 35. His body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico legal formalities.
In another incident Suhail s/o Kosar Hussain was killed when unknown assailants opened fire on him in Pir Illahi Bakhsh(PIB) Colony. He was around 30. His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Meanwhile, bodies of Kashif s/o Saeed and Zahid s/o Iftikhar, both in their mid-twenties, were found in Liaquatabad No-2. The bodies, stuffed in gunny bags, were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem.
Another body of an unknown man, aged around 30, was found in Burns Road area, street number 3. It was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.
Moreover, a young man and a woman were shot and injured by unknown armed men in Qasba Colony area.
They were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for medical aid. Two other women Fatima 35, and Sharif Bibi, 55, were injured in firing incidents in Ittihad Town and Nazimabad. They were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
