ISLAMABAD: Frontier Corps and police have foiled an attempt to below key government buildings, including FC headquarters in Quetta this morning.
According to a private news channel, FC and police have thwarted a terror bid and arrested to terrorists during operations at Zarghoon Road and Saryab Mill areas of Quetta and recovered 220 kilograms of explosive material.
The accused made startling revelations during investigations. The accused said they were involved in several terrorism incidents in Quetta.
They claimed that their group carried out May 14 attack on FC convoy at Almo Chowk in Quetta. They said they had prepared a special explosive laden vehicle to blow FC Headquarters.
The arrested terrorists said they were tasked to blow several key government buildings in the city. According to FC the accused belonged to a banned organization.
