SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were slightly lower in early trade Monday after data released at the weekend showed the country's manufacturing activity fell to a seven-month low in June, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers A and B shares, fell 0.05 percent, or 1.11 points, to 2,224.32.
