Ali Azmat's 'Bum Phatta' to feature in 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist'

Ali Azmat's hit single "Bum Phatta" is to feature in a Hollywood movie, The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mira Nair.
The movie is based on the book of the same name by Mohsin Hamid. The best-selling book is known as one of the books that defined the decade of 2000-10.
The movie is about the drastic turn of events after the 9/11 attacks, experienced by a young, ambitious American immigrant from Pakistan who dreams of living the perfect American life.
The song is the perfect choice for the movie as it has a feel of hopelessness, deprivation, turbulence and defiance that complies with the theme of the movie.
According to media sources the film has a very diverse cast, starring Kate Hudson, Liev Schreiber, Kiefer Sutherland, Riz Ahmed an actor from Britain and Pakistan's model/singer Meesha Shafi as well.
