Cheer Up with ‘Cocktail’ this July

After celebrating the success of “Love Aaj Kal” and “Aarakshan”, duo Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone are now ready to release their upcoming film “Cocktail”.

The movie is directed by Homi Adajania, Director of “Being Cyrus” and penned by renowned Bollywood figure Imtiaz Ali.

Along with Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone, Indian Model Diana Penty makes her acting debut.

‘Cocktail’ revolves around the concept of friendship, love and betrayal. The movie features Saif Ali Khan as Gautam Khanna, Deepika Padukone as Veronica D’Costa and Diana Penty as Meera Gupta.

Gautam Khanna dreams of moving to London for a job. His dream comes true but his mother, played by Bollywood Veteran Dimple Kapadia asks him to wait until she finalizes a girl for him first.

She selects Meera Gupta (played by Penty) as her daughter-in-law and tells Gautam to take Meera with him as she too has an assignment to complete in London.

On the flight Meera and Gautam form a newfound friendship. Though it’s not all smooth sailing - Meera having had some difficulties completing her assignment loses her job, and in an effort to cheer her up Gautam takes her to a beach party where they meet the illusive Veronica (played by Padukone). It’s love at first sight for Gautam and Veronica.
