Abhishek Bachan and Ajay Devgan Together Again in ‘Bol Bachan’

‘Bol Bachan’ is an upcoming movie by Rohit Shetty, Director of the commercially successful franchise ‘Golmaal’. The movie is a tribute to the original Golmaal (1979) which was directed by Bollywood Veteran Hrishikesh Mukherjee.

Shetty formerly offered Devgan a role in ‘Golmaal 4’, but Devgan was of the opinion “It’s better to have a gap of two years between two ‘Golmaal’ films.”

The story of ‘Bol Bachan’ is penned by Farhad, Yunus Sajawal and Sajid; while music is composed by Ajay Atul and Himesh Reshammiya.

The movies lead characters feature Abhishek Bachan as Abbas Ali, Asin Thottumkal as Bachan’s sister Sania and Ajay Devgan as Prithviraj Raghuvanshi.

The story revolves around Abbas Ali who lives with his sister Sania. He fights for his ancestral land but fails to succeed; So he migrates to the village ‘Ranakpur’. In Ranakpur Ajay Devgan’s character Prithviraj supports the Abbas family both morally and financially.

The movie marks another milestone for Shetty in fusing together the comedy and action genres.

The movie is schedules for release on July 6th 2012.
