Kareena, Khan, Johar back together again for upcoming movie

KARACHI: Director Punit Malhotra has chosen Kareena Kapoor as his leading lady to star opposite Imran Khan in his upcoming movie, yet to be titled.

According to media sources, Malhotra and Johar selected Kareena over Sonam Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra because they were inspired by the response of their previous blockbuster release “Ek Mein Aur Ek Tu.

Sources added that Kareena decided to work in Malhotra’s film because of Johar. The three met in Dharma Productions office and by the end of the detailed discussion, Kapoor was convinced with the project.

The ambitious Kareena told the media that she has signed a number of big projects under Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Kareena further added that she walked out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ambitious Romeo Juliet romance titled “Ram Leela” due to monetary issues.

Khan is happy to work with Kareena Kapoor for the second time.

The shooting dates are yet to be announced.
