LAHORE: Senior Advisor and Senator Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa has said that government and people of Punjab are deeply thankful to Army doctors for their services at teaching hospitals on the request of Punjab Government during strike of young doctors.
According to a hand out, here on Thursday, he expressed these views while addressing a farewell reception hosted on behalf of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in honor of Army doctors who rendered their services for humanity, here last night.
Punjab minister for Law Rana Sanaullah, Special Assistant to Chief Minister on health Kh. Salman Rafiq, Secretary Health Arif Nadeem were also present.
The delegation of doctors was led by Commandant (CMH) Brig. Dr. Naseer Ahmad accompanied by DMS 4 corps, Brig. Shakeel-ur-Rehman Afridi.
Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa appreciated that in case of emergency whenever the services of Army doctors are needed they serve ailing humanity with zeal.
Commandant CMH Lahore, Brig. Dr. Naseer Ahmad said that Pak Army remains ever ready for services to affected brethren and army doctors performed duties diligently in seven teaching hospitals of Punjab on the request of Punjab Government.
Army Doctors have provided services in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur and other districts.
