Circuit ropes Munna Bhai for his Directorial debut

Arshad Warsi to get his former 'Munnabhai' co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani for his directorial debut.

For someone who started as a choreographer and is best known for his comic characters, Warsi is making his foray into direction with an action thriller scripted by Soumik Sen.

Warsi said, he is eagerly looking forward to his film, an action thriller.

He was quoted as saying "Producer Vashu Bhagnani has signed me as the director. For the cast, Sanjay is my first option and I feel that Sanjay Dutt is probably the easiest actor to work with in the industry. I want to work with actors who are less troubling in nature.”

Even before his maiden production venture had released, Arshad Warsi had announced his plans of directing a film.

Now, a few years after “Hum Tum Aur Ghost” tanked at the box-offce, the actor is preparing for his directorial debut.

A well-placed industry source tells that the actor-turned-filmmaker will be playing a conman in the film, while Dutt and Irani’s characters will be kept close under wraps.
