Kapoor and Padukone pair up for first time in Parbhu Deva’s next film

KARACHI: Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Paudkone will be paired up for the first time in Prabhu Deva’s next action thriller “Namak”. This is the first time Kapoor and Padukone will romance each other on screen.

Padukone is currently shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” with Ranbir Kapoor. She will next begin shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express with Shah Rukh Khan in October.

Kapoor has not shot for any film since Kunal Kohli’s “Teri Meri Kahaani” with Priyanka Chopra. He is fully involved in the film’s pre production and rumour has it, that he could even quit Bijoy Nambiar’s next film due to start filming at the end of the year.

There was talk that Prabhudeva’s “Namak” might get postponed and shooting would start sometime mid 2013. But the final release date of the film has yet to be decided.
