SRK invited to ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ premiere, Salman left out

KARACHI: Shah Rukh Khan is invited at the premiere of Christopher Nolan’s latest creation, “The Dark Knight Rises”, which releases later this week. With Shah Rukh Khan on the guest list, the organizers reportedly dropped the name of Salman Khan in an attempt to rule out any ugly confrontation between the competing Khans.

Like most of us, Shah Rukh Khan too is excited to watch the final installment of Nolan’s Batman franchise. And thus, when the invitation was forwarded, King Khan couldn’t let go of the opportunity and confirmed his attendance.

Bollywood young-guns like Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan have also reportedly confirmed their attendance to the star-studded screening event to be held at Juhu multiplex on Thursday.

According to a source, "SRK, Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan are amongst the few who have confirmed their attendance for the premiere. Salman was never invited for this one. The organizers deliberately kept Salman away from it as they would not like to put SRK in an awkward spot."
