KARACHI: Veteran actor and scriptwriter Salim Khan believes “Ek Tha Tiger” to be a landmark in his son Salman Khan’s career.

According to media sources, when Kabir Khan, Director of Ek Tha Tiger showed his movie to the legendary Khan, he approved it by saying that the movie by him means a lot not just for Khan but also for the director and he is quite happy with it.

Kabir Khan tweeted, "Showed 'Ek Tha Tiger' to a living legend of screenwriting in Hindi cinema. At the end of the film he hugged me and said - 'Ab sojao beta..'. With a beaming smile he said - 'it's a landmark film for Salman'. It was the man whose films we saw and studied in film school. It was Salim Khan."

Ek Tha Tiger leading cast features Khan along with Katrina Kaif.

The movie is scheduled to be released on August 15.
