Ranbir Kapoor not more than a good friend: Deepika Padukone

KARACHI: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone had a break up with Ranbir Kapoor over allegations of his disloyalty but now they are re-uniting as good friends in their upcoming project “Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani”.

Speaking to national daily publications Padukone said, “We are back to being good friends, but there is no question of us dating again.”

“I have a certain comfort level with Ranbir and there is no awkwardness owing to our split. If I was not comfortable with him, I wouldn’t have signed a film opposite him,” she added.

Padukone further cleared the rumours of them spending a lot of time during the shooting. She said, "Yes, we spent time, but it's only media that projected as if we were ever alone. Ayan and the other crew were always with us.”

Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani will be a romantic movie. It is directed by Ayan Mukherji and produced by Karan Johar.

The movie is scheduled to be released in March 2013.
