Will Sonam Kapoor replace Sonakshi Sinha in ‘Milan Talkies’?

KARACHI: Director Tigmanshu Dhulia is planning to cast Sonam Kapoor in his upcoming project “Milan Talkies”.

According to Indian media sources, “The film already has Imran khan in the lead, but the leading lady is still to be confirmed. As Sonakshi has already been paired opposite Imran in Milan Luthria’s “Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai 2”, Tigmanshu didn’t want to repeat the same pair in his film.”

Sources said that it appears that Kapoor tops the wish list. Directors have approached Parineeti Chopra as well, but nothing has been finalized yet.

But Dhulia needs a new couple for Milan Talkies. He, along with Ekta Kapoor, are still trying to figure out the right cast opposite Khan.

Sources added that after the success of “Paan Singh Tomar” now everyone is waiting for Dhulia’s next Milan Talkies. The film is a love story, where the director is all set to explore the complication of a small town romance.

The movie is expected to release sometime in 2013.
