KARACHI: American singer Beyonce has admired the efforts of Pennsylvanian Ton Do-Nguyen, who amazingly shot, edited and starred in the remake of Beyonce’s “Countdown” video.
According to media sources, Nguyen recreated the video’s dance moves, colour washes and moving frames, along with singer’s facial expressions.
Beyonce appreciated the work by saying, "Brilliant. I Think he did this video better than I did :)."
"The very moment of seeing my face on Beyonce's website had to be the best moment of my life," Nguyen was quoted as saying.
"I can't even find words to describe how I felt. Knowing that my number one idol, the Queen B, had merely seen my video was enough to send me over the moon," he said.
Sources added that the differences between the original and the remake were negligible, although Beyonce has worked on this video with the professionals and with a huge budget. Nguyen has worked on the video for two months with some of his friends.
The remake quickly amassed over a million hits on Youtube.
