KARACHI: Aamir Khan’s debut TV show “Satyamev Jayate” has received tremendous acclaim and appreciation not only from Indians but from every part of the world where the show has its reach.
The man behind BBC’s renowned talk-show “Hard Talk”, Tim Sebastian has reportedly moved to India to create an issue-based television program that follows in the footsteps of Khan’s Satyamev Jayate.
On being asked about choosing India as the focal point of his next project Sebastian said, “Why not India? It is among the youngest countries in the world. It has an amazing amount of demographic figures, so many languages, so many cultures and so many people.”
“I have gone through a few similar shows in India but not Aamir's. I have been told that our shows are very different. His is a chat show, while mine involves a debate that I will be moderating,” he said when his forthcoming TV program was compared to Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate.
The Award-Winning Journalist is reportedly busy conducting research for his upcoming show which is scheduled to go on air in October later this year. The 13-episode talk show will be titled “The Outsider”.
