Tusshar Kapoor idolizes sister when it comes to success

KARACHI: Tusshar Kapoor is overwhelmed with his sister Ekta Kapoor’s commercial intellect and her tactical know-how, which she gained after years of hard work that has cemented her survival in the Indian film industry.

"Ekta has learnt the tricks of the trade, but there is a lot of hard work too which she put in all these years. She has come to a stage where now she knows she has got a good team and now she can go ahead. One takes time to understand a business," said Tusshar Kapoor. 

The 35-year-old actor feels proud of his sister productions Kya Kool Hain Hum and The Dirty Picture, both of which that despite being bold have been hits with the masses. Ekta Kapoor’s commercial success has made their home production Balaji Motion Pictures a prime choice of many investors.

“A lot of our films have been bold and they have done as well. There is a way to mix commercial and art and that is what Ekta has learnt to do," he said.

Tusshar Kapoor plans to follow his sister's footsteps, and desires to produce a film as well. But the actor seems to be waiting for a good corporate tie-up coupled with a pleasant director and script.
