ranbir-kapoorwebKARACHI: Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor apologised for seen smoking in public place. He sent his apologies through his lawyer to a court of Udaipur.

According to media sources, Kapoor was summoned in the court for violating Rajasthan Prevention of Smoking Act.

Sources added that Kapoor did not come appear before the court in person but sent the apology through the lawyer by stating that he had come to Udaipur for shooting his upcoming movie “Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani” and the incident when he was photographed smoking in public at Gangaur Ghat was a scene of the film.

Harish, a resident of Jagdish Chowk had filed a complaint with Ghantaghar police station under section 5/1 of Rajasthan Smoking Prohibition Act 2010.

The evidences from videos and reports confirmed Kapoor as guilty.  The court has fixed next hearing in August.
