KARACHI: Rajkumar Hirani’s P.K. headlining Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma has two male leads and the buzz is the role could go to Ranveer Singh.
There has been constant gossip on Hirani wish for Ranbir Kapoor to play the younger guy. The actor, however, isn’t biting the bait. The reasons are simple. First, he is not in favour of two-hero projects.
In the past, he has refused Karan Johar’s suggestion to cast him and Shah Rukh Khan in a project. Also, he is already teaming up with Anushka for Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet. He does not want to loose the advantage of a fresh pairing in his solo hero film.
Sources close to the film say that Imran Khan was also considered for the role, but Hirani, who is directing and debuting as producer with the film, is keen on Ranveer Singh.
Sources said, "The role is actually more suited to Ranveer Singh. And the makers are looking to cast this bright actor."
Well, it would certainly be interesting to see Aamir and Ranveer together because they come from different schools of acting and together will make a deadly combination.
