KARACHI: ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ actor Tom Hardy has agreed to fight professional boxer David Haye if all the money raised goes to charity.
The 34-year-old star wants to get in the ring with the professional heavyweight boxer, but only if the money gained goes to good causes such as Help for Heroes, the Prince’s Trust,
Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Bowel Cancer Research and homeless charity FLACK.
Hardy who played a cage fighter in 2011 movie “Warrior” is currently filming a TV
documentary about survival in Congo.
“Hardy v Hayemaker? No problem. Let me take my make-up off first. I’ll fight him as soon as I get back from the Congo with my mates if he wants,” he said.
“I’ve never fought a professional heavyweight, it'll be an experience,’ he added.
On the other hand, David Haye, nicknamed the Hayemaker, recently admitted he is keen to
launch an acting career and play a bad guy similar to Hardy’s terrifying alter-ego Bane in
‘The Dark Knight Rises’.
