The Indian reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, which has attracted a huge number of audiences through its five seasons, is said to return with a ‘cleaner’ version this season.
The in-house fights, arguments, back-biting and a lot of foul languages to rank in the TRPs and make news, might not be part of the upcoming season.
According to reports, Salman Khan, who is the host of the show, is keen to move the show away from its trademark negativity and controversial status.
The broadcasters of the show confirmed the news saying, “Bigg Boss 6 will be a wholesome entertainer with a parivarik (family) punch.”
“It was a joint decision between Salman and the broadcasters to clean up Bigg Boss. Salman has become a very big star today and has a huge fan following, especially among kids. It works for him and the broadcasters to get more eyeballs,” broadcasters added.
The sixth season will reportedly be without controversial characters. Personalities with a clean and responsible image and those who can behave themselves in the house will be roped in.
“Now, only those participants who have a family friendly image will be chosen,” sources concluded.
