ali-azmatKARACHI: The famous Pakistani singer Ali Azmat lended his voice to the Bollywood movie Jism 2 which has been hyped as Sunny Leone’s debut venture in Bollywood.

The “Junoon” singer sung two major tracks of Pooja Bhatt’s movie including a title track, “Ye jism hai to kia” and a sufi song “Maula”.

However after the movie has released and collecting a huge response, the producer Pooja Bhatt wants Ali Azmat to come to India no matter what.

“Ali was not being granted the visa for India. And we kept waiting, persuading the government for the same. But the visa regimes between the two countries are so tough that it wasn’t just coming through,” says Pooja Bhatt.

Finally, her father Mahesh Bhatt who has been fighting for cross border cooperation between the two nations, intervened and Pooja’s husband, Manish Makhija went to Pakistan himself to bring the singer in the city.

“When Manish went to Pak, he got Ali’s visa done in five minutes,” Bhatt added.
