KARACHI: The American President Barack Obama thinks Anne Hathaway “was the best thing” in the batman trilogy, ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’
He spoke about the film during a campaign fundraiser at movie mogul Harvey Weinstein's Connecticut home.
Anne Hathaway and Oscar-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin co-hosted the re-election fundraiser for US President Barack Obama.
“I got a chance to see ‘Batman’, and she was the best thing in it. That’s just my personal opinion,” he said.
The 29-year-old beauty laughed at Obama’s praise.
She got her hair trimmed for role of Fantine in Tom Hooper’s forthcoming big-screen adaptation.
Hathaway admitted it was “terrifying” compared to some of the stunts she had to do in her portrayal of Catwoman in ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’
