EK-THA-TIGERwebKARACHI: There is a buzz doing the rounds that the directorial venture of Kabir Khan “Ek Tha Tiger”, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif has been granted with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) by Pakistan Censor Board.

According to media sources, after having a thorough look to the film trailers, Pakistan’s censor board gave an NOC to trade in the prints.

Speaking to media, Vice Chairman of the CBFC Mohammad Ashraf Gondal said, "A few board members watched the trailer. Filhaal single opinion nahi hai (There are mixed reactions for a while). CBFC chairman Shahnawaz Noon will submit a final approval report after watching the whole film."

Sheikh Amjad Rasheed from IMGC Global Entertainment, who is the distributor of film in Pakistan said, "They have asked for the print by August 12. On August 13, the final content will be watched and a decision taken. But hopefully, Eid tak Pakistan ke theatres mein film lag jaayegi (On Eid, the film would hopefully release in Pakistan)."

Sources added that after receiving positive signals from Pakistan censor board, Director Khan is now confident about the success of his film across the country.

He said, “There are no offensive scenes or dialogues in the film. We are confident that we will get a clearance from the Pakistan government.”

He said that Khan is very popular in Pakistan and above all the movie will be an Eid release.

Ek Tha Tiger is scheduled to be released on August 15.
