Sanjay Dutt takes after his father in Son of Sardar

KARACHI: Sanjay Dutt will be adopting one of his father’s roles in film ‘Son of Sardar’.

Dutt’s plans of remaking his father Sunil Dutt’s film ‘Mujhe Jeene Do’ have now been incorporated in Ajay Devgan’s Son of Sardar.

His character in the film is said to be modelled on his father’s role, down to the clothes, make-up and hair.

Reportedly, Dutt suggested the look, which had fascinated him from the time he was a child.

Director Ashwin Dheer says, “It’s canny how much he resembles his father in SOS, when I pointed it out to Mr Dutt, he got very emotional.”

"Now is the time when Mr Dutt is discovering the wonder that was his father and is able to convey his deep admiration in his performance," Dheer added appreciatively.
