KARACHI: There is a buzz doing the rounds that Bollywood Actress Deepika Padukone might not be a part of Shahrukh Khan’s “Chennai Express”.
According to media sources, King Khan repudiated to confirm the rumour about Padukone to star in Chennai Express.
Speaking to media Khan said, “I am the producer and, I think, the director should be announcing it soon.”
Sources added that Rohit Shetty, the Director of movie has authority to reveal the news that’s why we have to wait for his statement to confirm the news.
Chennai Express is a romantic film. The story, also penned by Shetty, revolves around one man’s journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and his experiences along the way.
If Padukone is final option for the movie, so this will be second movie of Khan and Padukone after “Om Shanti Om”.
The movie is expected to be released sometimes in 2013.
