LONDON: Muttahida Quami Movement MQM leader Altaf Hussain strongly condemned killing of people at Babusar Top near Gilgit on Thursday after being pulled out from three passenger buses by armed terrorists.
He said gunning down of innocent people belonging to a particular segment of society in the country after ascertaining their identities was blatant terrorism.
Elements involved in killing innocent people for their vicious designs were not worthy of being called humans let alone Muslims.
Altaf Hussain demanded of President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan to take serious notice of people travelling in passenger buses near Babusar Top, perpetrators be arrested and given exemplary punishment.
He offered condolences to families of those killed and prayed for early recovery of injured.
