Veena Malik to launch Indian news Channel
KARACHI: Pakistani controversy Queen Veena Malik was invited by Indian channel Sahara at the
launch of its News channel in Maharashtra and Gujarat.
The actress came under the limelight by receiving the invite for the launch by the channel’s group head Subrata Roy.
“I feel very pleased that the Sahara Group President Subrata Roy invited me as a guest of
this auspicious event. Media play a very important role in our society and I am very lucky to be a part of it,” she said.
Subrata Roy has praised Malik and claimed her ‘super actress’.
“Today is a very a big day for me as it’s the launch of my new news channel and its feel
great that Veena Malik the super actress is being the part of it,” said Roy.
Bollywood singer Anu Malik, Indian Sports Minister Ajay Makan, Lok Janshakti Party President
Ram Vilas Paswan and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Laloo Prasad Yadav were also
present at the event.
“Veena is a wonderful actress. She portrays herself the best and it’s really good seeing her
always,” said Laloo Prasad Yadav.
Malik is currently hosting a religious TV show “Astaghfaar” on Hero TV.
