KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah while taking notice about water shortage in different areas of Dadu and Khairpur and districts has directed concerned deputy commissioners to provide every possible assistance to the people in this regard.
The Sindh CM also talked to concerned deputy commissioners via telephone and directed them to immediately make alternate arrangements to overcome water shortage in areas of districts Khairpur and Dadu, said a statement issued on Sunday.
He directed the DCO district Dadu to visit the affectes areas of Kacho in district Dadu and present his report at earnest.
He also directed the DCO Dadu to ensure water provision to people of themselves and for their cattle as well and also arrange medical supplies and shelter for the effectees.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah further directed the DCO district Khairpur to take immediate measures to overcome shortage of water in Khairpur.
