DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates produced 2.7 million barrels per day (bpd) of oil in August, down around 100,000 bpd from the previous month, an industry source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Thursday.
In July, the OPEC country's production was ramped close to its maximum capacity of 2.8 million bpd.
The UAE, which is among the world's top crude exporters, has promised oil supplies to customers who are looking at cutting their dependence on Iran's crude exports due to sanctions placed by the West.
