KARACHI: An 11-year old boy was killed and around 9 others injured when a hand grenade went off at Pak Colony near old Goli Mar, the media reported on Saturday.
According to details, several shops and a rickshaw were also damaged in the blast.
Police and other law enforcement agencies have arrived at the scene and investigations are underway to ascertain the nature of the blast.
The injured have been shifted to the hospital.
According to the police, the explosion occurred in a chemical drum.
However, traffic has returned to normal.
