ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Wednesday met Jammiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman here on Wednesday and discussed country’s political situation and bilateral concerns.
Rehman Malik assured Fazalur Rehman to address the JUI-F’s concerns in line with President Asif Ali Zardri’s promise.
Rehman appealed JUI-F’s chief to avoid issuing any statement against coalition partners. Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that it was impossible for the democratic process to run in Gilani’s being in power.
