zardari4 400ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari Friday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of renowned novelist Razia Butt, who passed away on Thursday.

In his condolence message, the President praised late Razia Butt for her literary contributions, which, he said, had enriched the literary heritage.

He said Razia Butt had a unique style of writing that endeared her to many. The vacuum created by her sad demise would take a long time to be filled, he added.

The President prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and to give courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with magnanimity and fortitude.
