PESHAWAR: Senior Vice President, Khyber Pakthunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KPCCI), Malik Iftikhar Ahmed Awan here Wednesday demanded fixation of uniformed rate for the release of wheat in the country besides allocation of special quota for flour mills to run at least eight hours shift to cater the growing demands of people.
These demands were presented to him during a high level meeting of the Flour Mills Association Khyber Pakthunkhwa led by its chairman Muhammad Naeem Butt who called on him here today. They discussed various problems confronted to the flour mills industry.
The meeting informed the Senior Vice President of KPCCI that increase of wheat quota was the need of the hours to stand flour mills industry on its feet.
He assured to take the matter with concerned quarters and assured all out support. The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman Malakand Division Haji Sirtaj Khan, Vice Chairman Peshawar division Yusaf Afridi, Executive Members Haji Musrat Shah and Gul Zarin.
