DPAP-LogoKARACHI: Major publication and portal owners of Pakistan have combined to form the Digital Publishers Association of Pakistan (DPAP). 


With 30 million Internet users and 120 million mobile subscribers, DPAP is dedicated to safeguarding the interests of all stakeholders in a rapidly emerging digital market and creating a regulated playing field.


Founding members of DPAP include representatives from Dawn Media Group, ROZEE.PK, Jang Media Group, Express Media Group, Business Recorder Group and SAMAA TV. 


DPAP's elected executive committee includes Masood Hamid (President), Monis Rahman (Vice President), Sarmad A. Ali (Member Executive Committee), Lucas Peter (Secretary General), Imran Ansari (Joint Secretary), Shahab Zuberi (Member Executive Committee), and Sarah Sohail (Finance Secretary). 


The first President of DPAP, Masood Hamid expressed confidence that this body will be supportive in achieving its objectives by clients, digital agencies and publishers alike. 


General Secretary DPAP, Lucas Peter expressed the goal of the executive committee to increase DPAP's membership as an inclusive association and converge on a shared common vision for Pakistan's digital market under one net.
