KARACHI: Bollywood Manisha Koirala has been discharged from Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday where she was admitted three days ago, but has left for US for further tests.
According to Indian media, Manisha Koirala was admitted to the hospital on November 30 when she fell unconscious. Rumors about her illness were doing rounds that she had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer but the doctors, her family members and her spokesperson refused to comment on Koirala’s illness.
The actress was reportedly spotted along with her family at the airport on December 2. However, Manisha has requested privacy from the media and from the public during this understandably difficult time for her, sources said.
Manisha recently made a comeback with Ram Gopal Varma’s “Bhoot Returns”. She initially debuted in Subhash Ghai’s “Saudagar” (1992), where she starred alongside legendary actors Dilip Kumar and Raaj Kumar.
