Duchess of Cambridge receives hoax call at hospital

KARACHI: Kate Middleton’s nurse fell for a prank call by Australian radio show hosts revealing confidential information.
The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to King Edward VII hospital after suffering from acute pregnancy sickness. Sources say a prank call was accepted by a staff nurse in which she revealed confidential details about the Duchess’ health.
The prank callers were Australian radio show hosts who imitated the voice of Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth II. The nurse looking after the Duchess did not suspect any wrongdoing even when the “Queen” wrongly suggested the Duchess as her grand daughter and was swearing in the conversation. The nurse gave details about the present health and treatment the Duchess has been receiving and even the appropriate time to pop-by for a visit.
King Edward VII hospital has always been used by the Royal family and the situation has been deemed ‘regretful’ by their representative, though they stood by their staff stating that they have professional people working who are not used to such tricks by journalists.
According to sources the spokesperson of the Australian Radio show has issued an apology. St. James Palace has yet to comment on the episode.
