ISLAMABAD: Afghan political analyst Nawab Muhammad and spokesman of the UNHCR have said that most of the Afghan refugees do not want to return their country.
According to a report by the UNHCR, they said that the situation in Afghanistan is not worst for work and business. However, the Afghan refugees hesitating to return their home country are those who are doing businesses in Pakistan.
Aslam Khan said that it was announced that the people, returning back to Afghanistan voluntarily, would be given $ 150 per head. This problem was to be solved till 2010, and then the problem was moving towards betterment.
This time, the UNHCR will give free transportation to the refugees returning to Afghanistan. But this is winter season and a severe cold weather is near to head.
"The first category of Afghans refugees is the people who have businesses in Pakistan which should be kept in mind and Pakistan should issue them proper visas on Afghan passports. The second category of Afghan refugees is the people who are residing in Pakistan due to worst law and order situation in Afghanistan. The third category is the illegal immigrants. They are neither refugee nor they have any legal documents to reside in Pakistan", they added.
