Yuvraj, Harbhajan, Zaheer, dropped for fourth Test

KARACHI: The Indian cricket team has dropped batting all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, spinner Harbhajan Singh and pacer Zaheer Khan for the fourth Test against England.
The strict decision was taken by Indian selectors on Sunday after the 2-1 defeat against the English side at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
England’s seven-wicket win in the third test made them the first visiting team to record back-to-back Test match victories on Indian soil in over a decade.
India has now lost six of their last seven Tests against England under Dhoni’s captaincy including the 0-4 loss in England last year and previous defeats in Mumbai and Kolkata. The loss on Sunday was India’s first at Eden Gardens in 13 years.
However, the Indian cricket team is now preparing for their fourth and final test. Zaheer, Yuvraj and Harbhajan have been replaced by Ravindra Jadeja, leg-spinner Piyush Chawla and medium-pacer Parvinder Awana.
The fourth and final Test of the series will be played at Nagpur from December 13.
