KARACHI: As the days head towards the 21st of December, 2012, theories of the world coming to an end are growing which has seen people moving to Mount Rtanj in Serbia to be safe.

Sources said people who believe in the concept are moving to specific sites to secure themselves from the disaster. People believe the pyramid style mountain is a place with special powers that can save the area from being destroyed hence hotels are receiving hundreds of calls a day to book any shelter place.

The entire legend revolves around the 5,125years Mayan calendar and according to some the 21st of December, 2012, is mentioned as the specific date, which will mark the end of the world. The ancient Mayan history has given rise to many books, websites and TV programs. However, scholars of Mayan civilization claim that people have wrongly interpreted the meaning of the calendar.

Fear has gripped people who are buying candles including survival shelters in the US, Russia and China.

A mountain in the French Pyrenees has been closed off to avoid chaos as it is also considered to be the only site standing on the day of disaster.

The pyramid shaped mountain in Serbia is believed to be concealing a Pyramid building inside left by aliens thousands of years ago.
