KARACHI: Britney Spears has begun working on her next studio album alongside Grammy Award-winning writer Elijah Blake.
This will be the singer's eighth album and first since her comeback "Femme Fatale" which was released in March 2011.
Blake's writing credits to date include Rihanna's "No Love Allowed" and Usher's "Climax", and he is now sure to produce something special for Spears.
According to reports, 'Blackout' Record Producer Danja is also teaming back up with Spears. The singer tweeted, "Blackout 2.0?" when her fans were trending the anniversary of the album on Twitter.
In 2007, Danja produced Spear's smash-hit "Gimme More" as well as "Break the Ice" and five other tracks for her Blackout album. The following year, he produced "Kill the Lights" and four other songs for Britney's album Circus, though only three songs made it on to the album.
It appears things are going well for the Princess of Pop, as her latest song with Will.I.Am entered the Irish charts at number eight last week, and she has since been named the highest-earning woman in music industry of 2012 with $58 million in the bank.
