KARACHI: The Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman’s solo album “Infinite Love” has been released on December 20, 2012, after a gap of fifteen years.
Rahman said that he wanted to record a solo single to “instill faith and optimism in people in a bid to counter the conspiracy theories regarding an apocalypse on December 21”.
The song was also released in Hindi, titled "Behad Pyaar", which translates to "Infinite Love" in Hindi.
Rahman, Indian rapper Blaaze along with Gil Levy wrote the lyrics for the English version, whereas lyricist Irshad Kamil worked on the Hindi lyrics.
The song was officially released through YouTube and iTunes on December 20, 2012.
