Pakistan-India-T20-Ahmedabad-2KARACHI: Pakistan skipper Mohammad Hafeez was out on 55 and Umar Akmal was the third Pakistan batsman to be bowled in the 2nd T20 being played at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday.

Earlier, Opener Nasir Jamshed was caught by Virat Kohli after being bowled by R Ashwin for 41. Ahmed Shehzad put 31 on the scoreboard when he was stumped by Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni after being bowled by Yuvraj Singh.

India set a target of 193 for Pakistan after the hosts were bowled out for 192-5.

India skipper Mahendar Singh Dhoni was bowled by Pakistan pacer Umar Gul for 33 as the innings came to an end after 20 overs.

Yuvraj Singh starred with the bat before being bowled for 72 in 35 balls trying to lift Umar Gul for a straight six. Virat Kohli was bowled out on 27 in 21 balls.

India was two batsmen down at the start of play. Opener Gautam Gambhir was out lbw by Umar Gul for 21 while A. H. Rahane was caught and bowled by Gul for 28 just after.

India got off to a good start with A.M. Rahane and Gautam Gambhir putting 44 runs on the scoreboard in 4.4 overs after which Gambhir was dismissed with three consecutive boundaries off Gul in the fifth over.

Rahane scored 28 in 26 balls before he was caught and bowled by Gul.

The 7 ft 1 Mohammad Irfan troubled the batsmen with steep bounce and a tight line giving away just 20 runs in his four overs.

But Yuvraj's seven massive sixes helped India gain some ground. He added 97 runs for the fourth wicket with skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Virat Kohli was in good nick scoring 27 in 22 balls before being run-out by Ajmal.

Earlier, Pakistan skipper Mohammad Hafeez won the toss and put India in to bat. Pakistan came into the game without any changes from the side that won the first T20 in Bangalore. However, India, to up its spin attack replaced Ravindra Jadeja with Ravichandran Ashwin.
