ISLAMABAD: Indian High Commissioner Sharat Sabharwal called on Leader of the Opposition in the Senate Wasim Sajjad here on Monday at the Parliament House and exchanged views on matters of mutual interests.
"The leader of the Opposition in the Senate Wasim Sajjad welcomed the envoy at the Parliament House," said a press release issued here on Monday.
He said that recent visit of the Indian Parliamentarians would help promote people to people contact, adding that the exchange of visits should be increased at different levels.
He also underscored the need for resolution of all outstanding issues through dialogue.
The Ambassador agreed with the views of Senator Wasim Sajjad and expressed the hope that exchange of visit between Pakistan and India will help in promotion of goodwill and understanding.
