Flick was impressed with Wednesday's 2-1 win which gave the German and European champions a 6-2 aggregate victory over the Serie A side as Bayern reached the quarter-finals for a record 19th time.
"The way we played football is how I imagine it," Flick said after Bayern strolled into the last eight.
"We're very happy about Musiala's development, he's very calm on the ball and the football world can look forward to what will come of this young talent," Flick said recently.
"My players showed from the first minute that they weren't going to worry about the difficult conditions and the absentees," said Wolfsburg coach Oliver Glasner.
The 24-year-old is due to complete the Bundesliga season in just 11 days time, but his is not willing to return and play in Champions league despite Leipzig reached the quarter-finals for the first time.
