Director General NAB Sukkur reiterated the resolve to further the vision of chairman NAB to curb corruption at levels to foster a corruption free Pakistan.
He said it is not correct that NAB approves plea bargain applications of the accused. An accused can apply for plea bargain as per clause 25-B of NAB ordinance.
He said that all public sector departments were duty bound to submit the copies of contracts of Rs50 million or above to NAB for scrutiny under its prevention regime.
NAB during the period of present management of three years has recovered Rs. 487 billion from corrupt elements and deposited in national exchequer which is a record achievement.
