The US Special Representative lauded the efforts of Pakistan for peace in the region during his meeting with COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Commander Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan General Austin Scott Miller was also present in the meeting, said military’s media wing.

COAS General Bajwa visits Corps headquarters Peshawar

Appreciating officers and men of Peshawar Corps, General Bajwa lauded efforts of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA)s including FC and police for bringing stability in the tribal districts.
The COAS was given detailed update on security situation, border management including fencing, capacity enhancement of Frontier Corps (FC) and police in newly merged tribal districts as a result of transition to stability.

Corps Commanders Conference: Army huddle discuss Afghan peace process, regional security

The meeting was chaired by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi.
The forum expressed satisfaction over positive developments in Afghan Peace Process and efforts made for regional peace and stability.

COAS visits PAF’s operational base, witnesses Pakistan-China joint exercise

General Bajwa said that the joint exercise will improve combat capacity of both Air Forces substantially and also enhance interoperability between them with greater strength and harmony.
The ‘Shaheen-IX’ is the ninth in the series of exercises between PAF and People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) which started in the 2011 and are held in both countries on alternate basis.
