He congratulated the business community for the new airline which he hoped would create a competitive atmosphere for PIA to bring efficiency in services.
He was informed that as per directions of the cabinet, an audit firm would be hired in the initial phase to carry forward the process in accordance with the best international practices.
As per the global standards, there are 150 employees per aircraft including pilot and cabin crew members, whereas in Pakistan the number stands at 550 employees per aircraft, Sarwar informed.
